Catch Up
I missed last Monday 25 March's post and have to admit, I've got a little behind. Regular blogging is a skill I'll have to work on. With work, family life and sharing a computer with a 2 teenagers means it is hard to find the time and the space to do my study. I tend to to work in solid lots and will probably need to become more consistent if I'm to keep up with the demands of the course. I need to do Industry assignments today so I'll work on my blog when this is out of the way. Cheerio

Week 2 - When I grow up I want to be a blogger...
Inspirational People
Oliver Jeffers: I can't tell you how much I have an art crush on this man! He is so creative and talented (oh, and good looking)!
Heather Moore from Skinny Laminx: What an amazing business story!
I am not a natural born blogger but i want to be.
Attributes required
1. 'consistency' - fail;2. a desire and need to record - fail'
3. a tinge of confidence, pride and exhibitionism - fail;
4. IT skills - 'fail'
hmmm..... looks as though there's lots of room to improve!!! BONUS!!!
I'll start by adding some inspirational videos I found. Maybe if I blog weekly, I could work towards doing it daily? Really want to start a blog for my work but find it hard to share?
Now, how do I attach a follow me on Pinterest icon in this blog?
How do I follow my fellow class mates? So many questions, so little time.
........ stay tuned!

Sharing Files for Assessment
I looked at Evernote www.evernote.com and although it looks extremely useful, it wouldn't download zip files. I looked into Box www.box.com but everyone can see what you've posted, so upon Kates good advice I went with Dropbox www.dropbox.com It seems easy to use and I like the compatability with my mac. It has an icon in the menu bar so I can upload a file just by dropping it in. Works well. Good for a 'noob' like me.
Week 1. Learning Challenges:
1. Can you attach a website link so the image shows
on the blog page?
2. How do I put link to other students on blog?
3. Do illustration for header and work out how to size
and attach?
4. Find out how to download some of the typography to
use in blog?
5. How do I put a calendar on and why would I?
6. RSS feeds - I have google reader but how do I get to show the RSS feed on my blog?
7. Look into Evernote?
8. How do I share another of my blogs on this blog?
9. Start up business blog?
10. Why when I edit my post, the layout mucks up when I update it?
